In 1994, our founders decided to bring our passion and share our love of coffee to Malaysia. Back then, we decided to set up our roasting facility in Malaysia (Penang) to fulfil the growing demands for fine coffee. Arabica Estate was established in 2015 when we began sourcing for the best coffee beans the world has to offer. Also, we carry a wide range of coffee products, such as freshly roasted coffee beans ranging from coffee blends to single origins coffee series, drip coffee sags, local kopi-o series, coffee equipments, cocoa powder, teas (Matcha & Hojicha). Our Vision is pretty simple : “Fresh is best. Amazing coffee for amazing you. Fresh coffee & customer satisfaction are our main priority!”
The key to produce the best cup of coffee lay greatly in between coffee roasting and sourcing of green beans. All of our coffee beans are sourced from reputable farms to ensure the coffee quality & consistency. We’ll go through an initial stage of beans sorting by roasting. We’ll carry out a 2nd round of hand-picking session, to ensue all beans have been roasted evenly for QC purposes.
Our 80% , 90% & 100% cocoa powders are sourced from the raw cocoa beans of the cacao tree, which have been fermented, peeled, ground into a paste then dried & timely ground into cocoa powder. Ingredients: 100% Cacao Beans, finely ground cacao powder from dried cacao solids. Packed with nutrients, low in sugar ( 80%, 90% ) or sugar free ( 100% cacao powder) , this is a great natural ingredient to flavour your food, drink in the place of regular chocolate powder.
Matcha from Uji. All our matcha are freshly imported directly from Japan tea farm, made from the nutrient – rich young leaves, hand-picked from the tups of shade – grown Tencha tea leaves plants. Matcha Green Tea is steamed, stemmed & de-vined before being store-ground into very fine powder. Matcha powder is then stored away from light & oxygen in order to preserve its brilliant green colour & antioxidant properties.
Hojicha from Kyoto. Hojicha is a roasted green tea with a delicious nutty flavour & aroma. Hojicha is made by slowly roasting tightly rolled dried tea leaves, stems, stalks or twigs resulting in a loose leaf tea. Like Matcha, Hojicha can also be ground into a superfine powder that can be used in food & beverage preparation. As a roasted green tea, Hojicha has a soothing, almost therapeutic earthy & smoky aroma.
